Educating Tomorrow’s Healthcare Workforce
Today for Mobile Technology Deployments
Workshop Objectives
New forms of communication, access to information,
and a highly mobile population are changing patients,
and the diseases that most providers need to
understand. The challenge for healthcare educators
is to empower healthcare practitioners to navigate,
evaluate, select, and synthesize information
to support real-time, evidenced-based practice.
This will only be accomplished by a combination
of three factors. Not only do we need an innovative
curriculum that leverages the latest mobile technologies,
but educators must model new ways to access information,
and apply it in the clinical setting.
Workshop Outline
- Using Mobile Technology to Transform
Healthcare Curriculum
- Mobile Technology in
the Healthcare setting: Getting Your Staff
Onboard
- Applications for the iPhone, iPad, and
